The younger Milei fans are mostly working class. They voted against the economic slump and corruption that comes with low wages and high inflation as epitomised by the nationalist social democrats; the divided Peronist factions. Many voted for Milei even after their lives had become harsher as the economy shrank under his government. Milei’s support waned a little but continues to critique Milei’s destruction of the health service — notably the Garrahan Central children’s hospital and the treatment of poor pensioners.
This leaves Javier Milei at loggerheads with only one branch of government that can face up to his destruction of the Argentine state, his shrinking of the Argentine economy and a slew of corruption cases piling up against his family

Both the plans in place for Trump 2025 (based somewhat on project 2025) and Argentina’s plans for 2024 (which have been extraordinarily cruel to the population) show extraordinarily parallels to Yarvin’s quasi-fascist government replacement plans (a form of technical coup d’État).
